- Actually, EDO RAM is faster and it has nothing to do with 2nd level cache.

- See, EDO RAM can still READ from RAM where regular DRAM has to wait for
- a refresh cycle, hence, when the one DRAM is waiting, the other is
- READING. Only situation that it would still have to wait is if it tried
- to read the exact same address twice in a row. EDO can READ A,B,C,D, etc.
- while regular DRAM only does, A,wait state,B,wait state,C, etc.
